More than 100 years since Ontario had a moly mine.

The had some small po dunk testing thingies here and there, but no mine since the turn of the century stuff in Renfrew. Some good high grade down there but f-all proof of it.

No comparison. Rox's production will exceed the largest historic mine in Quebec or Ontario. The PQ mine in 1916 put out 95% of the world's production. Of course this would be a drop in the bucket today. (1 million total lbs.) I don't believe the production figures. A lot got swept under the table back then.

I visited the mine. It had open cuts 350 feet deep. It is now inside a park. I staked up to the boundary but decided to let it drop. The tailings pond from the mine has been completely been removed. No idea where it went. Some say it went to backfill. I think midnite tailings processing at some high moly price period.
