LOL! Here's a great quote from the pathetic article:

<<< Brigham Young University physicist Professor Steven Jones told peers at a Utah meeting that, "while almost no fire, even one ignited by jet fuel, can cause structural steel to fail >>>

Some professor. The construction industry coats structural steel with a product called "Fire Proofing". It's sprayed and covers the steel. Its very purpose is to prevent structural failure of the steel when exposed to fire. Thus the name "fire proofing". Almost any fire can weaken steel if it burns long enough. Obviously 1000's of gallons of jet fuel would be more than enough to cause the failure of the steel.

Is this really still being debated? What sort of 'professor' would say 'almost no fire ... can cause structural steel to fail'???
