List of countries by number of active troops This isn't a rank of military power, some soldiers are better equipped and trained than others, also some countries rely more on reserves, but it is somewhat relevant information. en.wikipedia.org Also see the top military spenders. en.wikipedia.org That list isn't adjusted for purchasing power parity, and some countries like China have a lot of their military spending off budget, but it might still be considered somewhat useful, if distorted, information. I'm surprised to see Saudi so high on the list.
