What's interesting about this is that it clearly shows that Americans desperately want someone who is more of a centrist. Everyone is sick of the do-nothing-Democrats and the neo-con-Republicans. Maybe Lieberman can expand beyond his strong Democrat base and embrace energy independence. Then he'd be a great candidate.

I'm still for Gore as of right now, until someone else with strong energy-independence credentials comes along.
