Not a matter of hating the U.S. government. It is a matter of wanting to find out the truth about one of the most important events in our lifetimes. If there were not so many unusual things about the 9/11 events, then there would be little or no conspiracy talk.

It is incredible how naive Americans are about the actual nature of our government (it is not benign or benevolent). The same goverment that lied us into and throughout Viet Nam and caused the unecessary death of 58,000+ Americans in that same country is somehow suppossed to be trusted a generation later and is not above comitting a dastardly deed like 9/11/01 that took 3,000 American lives?!? I see no moral reason to believe the U.S. government is not capable of doing a 9/11. 9/11 took a fraction of the lives lost, like 5%, in Viet Nam. It was small potatoes in the grand scheme of things.

Why...

Did Bush, Rumsfeld and Gen Meyers do nothing during the 9/11 attacks?
Were no arab names, and certainly not the hijackers, on the flight manifests for the 4 9/11 planes?
Were military planes not scrambled, despite ample time, to defend DC and prevent the Pentagon from being hit?
Does the FBI not list 9/11 as a reason why Osama Bin Laden is wanted?

These are among many questions that have caused alternative conspiracy theories to arise from the ashes of 9/11.

"hating America and distrusting our government..."

The problem is the ignorance that drives anyone to consider that this is a logical statement....

If you cannot understand that one can love this country while distrusting the criminals you elected to run it, there ain't much hope....
