We know who the dumb ones are on this.
Sure do. Slick and his buddies.

Did you actually READ any of those links? Or are you just spitting at your keyboard? It's QUITE CLEAR what Clinton and his administration believed. They said so themselves.

Let's see. FDR authorized the development of the atomic bomb (the Manhattan Project) with the intent that it would be used on Germany. The concern was that Germany also had a nuke development program and might get there first and put US in the crosshairs.

Unfortunately both Germany and Italy surrendered before we had a working bomb. It was used on Japan instead and forced surrender.

Was FDR an idiot suffering from delusions for not forseeing that Germany would surrender before we had a nuke?

Or did he make a wise decision on the premise that nuclear weapons were "in the air" and SOMEBODY was going to develop one and maybe we'd best have an answer ready?

Sorry about your problems, but you seem to have a real problem dealing with FACTS. And the fact is that Clinton and his administration, rightly or wrongly, DID say they thought SH dad WMDs. You have the choice of staying in FantasyLand or incorporating the FACTS into your thinking, painful as that may be.
