That's ridiculous. Republicans are Republicans because they believe in authoritarianism, police states, preemptive war for profit, more wealth for the ultrawealthy, more poverty for the ultrapoor, polluted air, global warming, etc. You're saying that you would vote for a Democrat when a Democrat becomes a Republican. Move to CT, you can now vote for such a Benedict Arnold in the guise of Joe Lieberman LOL. People vote on party lines because that's how politicians act WHEN THEY ARE IN OFFICE. The party that an individual belongs to says almost everything about who they are. To say that you vote for an individual is to be a child about the current political landscape.
