I don't understand sarman at all. In PMs he is a totally different guy. I had the same experience over on the PGWB thread. I was having a debate with ChinsuSFO over what the US should/shouldn't be doing in the ME (it's also one of the reasons I've little patience for the painfully idealistic on this thread). After the debate had gone on for a while I'd been getting so many PMs warning me that he could be everything from an Iranian terrorist to George Soros, that I decided to get to know him via a few PMs. It was like Jekyll and Hyde. I found out he was a first generation immigrant from India with a engineering degree (from an American school if I remember). He was doing his best at the time to pry open his ethnocentric neighborhood (the Bay area) by trying to sponsor an Indian culture event. He actually asked and excepted some advice that I gave him about the subject. Neither he or I cut each other any slack in public still and the debate fizzled after I realized that he'd lead me in a full loop and he was repeating his argument. Hawk should not waste his time on geode, sickvestor and sarman. I agree to a certain extent. Hawk has already soundly thrashed them all to no avail. When Hawk presents facts to debunk their opinions, instead of modifying their opinions to fit the facts they try to modify the facts to fit their opinions and when that fails then they throw in a bunch of other garbage from left field to muddy the debate and then claim victory. Reminds me alot of hez...... To be honest I haven't been reading very many of Bilows posts. I'll check Him/her out.
