We are in Iraq for a long time to come. Getting out isn't really a question. We need to be present to keep the violence from getting out of hand. I think the article accurately reflects the point that Shiite violence would be worse against the Sunnis if we were not there to balance the peace.

The bugaboo is the Sadr fellow. Its obvious to me he is more interested in PERSONAL power then in nation building. And if he is religious then I am GOD. Someone needs to KNOCK him off for the good of the nation. jdn
