Sunnis don't want a partition because it would remove them from the oil revenues in the north and the south. I have no interest in seeing the Shiites assuming full control of the country, the Sunni Kurds in the North are a good balance to the Shiite power in the South.

Hopefully, good minds can restore order so that Iraq can get back to business. It's hard to imagine, but every conflict has an end. This one can't come soon enough, since there is no point to inter Muslim violence.
