"Another Miami/Sears Tower terrorist "plot"?"

Wouldn't at all be surprised. Initially, it sounded at least semi-plausible as a plot, but the few details that have leaked makes it seem more and more unlikely. Apparently the explosive they were going to use has a difficult to acquire component, concentrated hydrogen peroxide, and it tedious to make. Plus it takes a lot of time to make enough and requires being cooled below room temp. Given that someone locking themselves in the lavatory for hours with a bunch of ice is likely to draw attention, I think we can safely say they hadn't identified an explosive. And without an explosive, downing those airliners is a bit trickier...

re: The critical information leading to the arrests and the flight cancellations came from Pakistani intelligence after the arrest of Rashid Rauf, a British Muslim from Birmingham, in Pakistan. But doubts are being raised over the authenticity of this information.

Another Miami/Sears Tower terrorist "plot"? If it is, people will be REALLY pissed. Especially anyone that has flown commercial the last week.

No kidding. My friends in London say its a nightmare getting in and out of any of its 4 airports. One friend had his sister visiting last weekend. She was supposed to fly out of Gatwick on Sunday at 4 PM. The flight never left. So they had to get up at 3 AM the next day and go out to the airport again. I think the plane finally took off at 3 PM later that day.
