Don't know this first hand, but I hear that smart kids in public schools are asked to help their slower to learn classmates along. Which sounds nice, but doesn't that hold back the progress of the smart kid? Trouble with public schools is they cater to the lowest common denominator.

If I had kids I'd send them to Catholic school, even if it meant I had to live hand to mouth while doing so.

To paraphrase Russell Kirk, the most revolutionary thing we can do is have kids and raise them right.
