They are behind in the polls and desperately need an issue to solidify the base. The terror button has worked in the past, why not now? We are probably going to be on a high terrorism alert through the elections with the meme that electing Democrats means the terrorists have won will be pushed at every opportunity. Hell, they've already started that. As cynical as that sounds, I think you're very right. And it will probably work too....for what......the third time. That's probably why Blair has not come back from Barbados......he doesn't want to be tarred with this brush even though he's behind it..........and he also knows its BS. They are sickening.
