I don't disagree. There's definitely a connection. I'm just trying to get some perspective.

Once you have a minimum wage in place, the marginal reduction in liberty of a cost of living adjustment is trivial. I don't think you'll find anyone claiming that they oppose a COLA particularly because of the liberty hit. We'd think him nuts.

The author, whatever his name is, made it out to be all about libertarianism, which is only a bit player. The main opposition has to do with the economic impact. You can't claim that an increase in the minimum wage signals the death of libertarianism. You might as well claim that it signals the death of public transportation for all the connection it has.
