There is a third must more practical way to deal with al Qaida and that's to go underground taking out one cell at a time. We will never win if we continue to fight them this way.

This strategy is also being pursued at present.

"Of course you would think that........rather than thinking it through, it easier to reject outright anything that doesn't fit your pictures."

Gotta chuckle at that. Something about black pots and kettles...

Wish it were as easy to do as it is to say. al Q is an organization of well-vetted people, mostly known to each other for years. Infiltration is a lengthy, dangerous, and difficult thing. If any moles are in place (as I'm sure there are), they are far too valuable to risk by trying to use them to take out other members of the cells they are affiliated with. I don't object to your idea, but it can't be used as the only means of rooting out individual cells or leaders. It's just too difficult and dangerous for the operative. Loss of an operative also means loss of very valuable intelligence. Forcing the rats out of their holes and then blowing the hell outta them is a much better means, IMO.

"They are not coming out of the shadows.......trust me."

Well, yes they are. Not as fast as I might want, but they ARE coming out of their holes, forced to by the way the Administration is waging this war. No offense intended, but no, I won't trust you on this. You have no more credibility than anyone else.

OK, genius. Tell us the secret.

You speak Arabic, right? You know Muslim customs SO WELL that you could infiltrate Hezbollah and take them out, right? Or al Qaeda? Then why haven't you done your patriotic duty, stepped like a MAN instead of a yellow-bellied coward, and done your job? Eh?

trust me
Trust YOU???? I trust al Qaeda more.
