I don't know the answers. But I wish people were asking the questions- NICELY, because I think it would help to have a more open debate. Part of the problem in this area is the uncertainty about what is racist- I think it makes people self limit what they say to the point that some important issues are probably no longer discussed, because people are justifiably afraid.

I must step out again now, but I look forward to continuing this later. This area of social interaction interests me a lot.

What is pornography?

What is torture?

What is beauty?

What is racism?

These are all legitimate questions and there is no reason why it can not be discussed.

There is general agreement when people discussing this stuff are on the same intellectual level - regardless of race, color, or creed.

My point is that the divide is not with race, national origin, ethnicity or whatever. The divide is somewhere else.
