There is no reason, except it is the right thing to do. The United States could well sit by and watch as the Israelis were slaughtered in a sea of howling Muslims. You could watch on CNN as Israel died and CNN worried about the masses of Muslims being injured in their frenzy. But you could not live with yourselves after you did it. It is the difference between Americans and Muslims. But go ahead and fantasize, You couldn't sit by and watch Israel Nuke the Muslims either.
