Honey said I call that inflation. As for BOB BRINKER'S opinion--who gives a flying fig? I thought that's what this discussion was supposed to be about. I only care that he is an arrogant know-it-all, who thinks he's much smarter than the Fed chair. He may be, for all I know, but he doesn't have to be such a pompous arse about it. It never ceases to amaze me how the Brinkerbashers "know" everything about what Brinker "thinks" and feels. I believe criticizing what someone says in public is appropriate, but no one can know what someone else thinks about himself in relation to someone else. And when they feel the need to resort to criticizing personal characteristics of a radio talk show host who comments on opinions in his field, and when they feel the need to resort to insults like "arrogant know-it-all" and "pompous arse"-- then we know their frustration with their own inability to carry on a more rational discourse is getting the best of them.
