I was part of Detroit 2000. I follow the progress. It is just pearls thrown after swine. (is that the expression?). I have done homes at Harbourtown. I chaired the Designer Showhouse (1990) at Stroh (that's how long ago) River Place. I used to hang out at Harry's, before and after Anita Baker.

Palm Trees in Detroit. How inappropriate. To me, as an interior designer, it telegraphs how the upper management of GM is thinking of their Naples homes and not Michigan. Ren Cen has always had big art projects...I selected some of them! Tear the damn abomination down!!!
Let the city breathe. End of rant...MP
