The parties are too far apart and there is no one who can broker agreements.

Just keep the US out of the argument except for human rights violations.


Sorry, we're ALREADY involved. So long as we're seen as being a supporter of Israel's survival as a nation (which should be our policy for any of the sovereign nations in the region), we're involved.

And we're even more involved because Israel is one of the few true democracies in the region.

And what would that mean if we're seen to abandon a democratic state to the "tender mercies" of totalitarian religious fanatics hell-bent upon destroying it as a state, and as a people?
