My comment: With the ruling of a federal judge that eavesdropping is illegal, and the support of anti-war candidates by John Kerry, I see this as the start of the campaign by Americans to take their country back from the neocons.

Sen. John Kerry Supporting Anti-War Candidates
August 16, 2006 9:49 p.m. EST

Josephine Roque - All Headline News Staff Writer
Washington, D.C. (AHN) - U.S. Senator John Kerry is supporting anti-war candidates like Senate nominee Ned Lamont and incumbents Robert Menendez of New Jersey and Daniel Akaka of Hawaii.

Senator Kerry is using his online political machinery to raise funds for Lamont while lauding Menendez and Akaka.

Kerry's 3 million-person e-mail list delivered a fund-raising missive, saying, "Ned Lamont has caused a national stir by successfully challenging the Bush position on Iraq that ignores the utter failure of the President's policy."

He goes on to say, "Ned, Dan and Bob have been attacked mercilessly for acting with such conviction and are locked in close must-win races."

"It's time to reward their courage."

Kerry has been traveling extensively to raise funds and back candidates. He is pondering a possible 2008 White House bid.

"Despite the 'warnings' coming from consultants, political pundits and naysayers in Washington, each of these candidates is making the mess in Iraq a central issue in their campaigns," Kerry said. "If we want to reward their courage, we've got to commit ourselves to pulling them through to victory."

Lamont's victory was deemed by some as a reflection of Bush's handling of the war.

"Bush's UnderSec Agriculture Dislikes Forests"

Another lie, Clifford. You just can't stop making things up that suit your twisted agenda.

There is nothing in the article you link to that suggests Mark Rey doesn't like forests. There was also no claim of any unreasonable policy or statement from him in that article, and there was no evidence for or even claim of corruption. He said - ""There are people who think that every tree should be named and hugged before being cut and then taken out with pallbearers".

You could argue about whether that's accurate or whether the environmentalists in question wouldn't accept any cutting of trees, but the statement does accurately represent the lack of perspective of some "tree-huggers".
