I have been looking at that backward nature.
Lost of things have been backward.
August is usually a bad month for stocks.
The last spike up in interest rates occurred in one of the most favorable months historically (for lower yields).
Sell in May worked but I am wondering if it worked only because it was disasterous last year. The "go away" portion did not work at all.

How much is everyone positioning things months in advance?
It is all weird. What are we doing now, positioning for the Christmas rally in August?
