I'm sure he is a great guy, but I find it sad to see a great engineering education not go into growing small companies into large ones or inventing new technologies.

I had the satisfaction of choosing HP over IBM back in 1978 when HP's revenues were less than IBM's profits then help HP to become one of the top stocks in the S&P500 before I left.

My on the job learning allowed me to help design products and eventually help define and build whole product lines that became multi million year businesses. HP was self funding and ran new technology develpments as startups with reviews and sponsoring managers just like small companies do with VCs in the Silicon Valley. I had the luck to be on two startups inside HP that started out with just four of us that turned into businesses with hundreds of employees who got jobs from what we invented then developed a market for. I've found those skills quite useful in picking new technology stocks.

Anyway... we all get our experience in different ways. It is good to see a fellow engineer do well.

now... why do you have such a hatred for me that nearly every post you make take cheap shots at me?

>>>Also, Muhlenkamp like Bob Brinker, has an actual Wall Street investment background.

OK just what did Bob Brinker do on Wall Street. When I would ask this question at his old website, it would be deleted so I never got an answer. What fund or funds did Brinker manage and how did they perform?
