The Iraq War was a scam perped by the Bushies using the aftermath of 9-11 and a mountain of lies and exaggerations. Actually it's not even a war it's an occupation, and the only reason they wanted Iraq was the oil. At the time, those who protested were few and greatly maligned. Also, remember Bushies deliberately lied about all that phony intel of theris. So let's stop holding people who were fooled culpable. The important thing is that they have woken up now. There are almost no democrats who support the way Bush-Cheney have run this "war" and who aren't disgusted as hell about the whole thing. Lieberman is one of the very few who still supports "staying the course".
