$45 oil, or less, would imply that there is some type of a global recession and therefore reduced demand. It would be very unlikely that supply can grow to drive prices down to that level. With the drop in revenue, do you think Saudi Arabia can keep the masses in check? amazon.com

Oil is grossly undervalued imo. I'm sure the oil companies are making up for their obvious losses on oil by selling water. Think about this the next time you fill your tank and see a 1/3 litre of drinking water selling for 1.29 but your litre of petrol is the same price. It takes absolutely nothing to turn on the tap and fill plastic bottles and ship them to retail whereas oil has many expensive steps to reach market. Oil is the steal of the century. Nope you are never ever going to see 30.00 oil nor 40 nor 50 not 60. Those days are long over. Its a BIG mistake to suppose a slowdown or recession in the USA will affect the rest of the world. Why would anyone think that? China is unaffected by what happens in the USA, as you will soon see. Every prediction of where base metal prices are going neglects to factor in the increasing world population. BTW the USA will be at war with Iran in 3 weeks and somehow this guy will be the center of it all. Oil will soar as Iran defeats the USA and blocks the Straits of Hormuz and turns the waterway into the straits of Hummus....impassable en.wikipedia.org
