Some enterprising reporter should check the phone calls that people said that they received.Phone records would prove whether they came from a plane or not.
I'll bet that 99 out of 100 people wouldn't even know how to operate a plane phone and also have the presence of mind to do so while being threatened by terrorists.I know that I would be shaking so bad that I wouldn't be able to even get my credit card out of my wallet.

I don't get it. The calls were from people pretending to be the passengers? Or, are you saying that they landed the planes somewhere and had the passengers make the calls and pretend to be in the air being hijacked?

I honestly have no idea what you are theorizing to have happened.
