If the Dems get control of one or both houses I think we may see some TAXES on those record profits. We ALSO may see some very "close" scrutiny of the industry. In business the idea is to get better numbers every quarter and keep the "good times rollin'". They aren't looking for a "Big Pop" for 2 or 3 years and then a collapse. ALL these guys are super rich already. They are looking for their "legacy" in the industry.

Israel doesn't want the U.S. to be energy independent. Because then the U.S. would have no reason to be interventionist ensnared in all the fighting of the Middle East, doing the dirty work for our masters, the Elders of Zion. Funny how the United States is constantly bombing or threatening Israel's most avowed enemies. Iraq, Iran, Syria, Libya, etc. The ones with all the oil! Israel has a vested interest in making sure that we are completely enslaved to middle east oil. Strange though, we always seem to fight or be at enmity with the countries who do have the oil, i.e. Iraq, Iran, Syria, Libya etc., and yet we are "best friends" with the Israelis who have none of the oil. We spend hundreds of billions going to war with those who have all the oil, and the worthless terrorist state of Israel which has none of the oil gets hundreds of billions of dollars of foreign aid! Quite a deal those crafty Jews have arranged for themselves, eh? If Israel is such a "great friend" of the United States, what have they ever done for us? Of course Israel deliberately slaughtered 34 American sailors and wounded 171 more in their unprovoked criminal attack on the defenseless USS Liberty, but what's a "mistake" among friends?
