I wouldn't normally talk about putting $100 billion into something, but since Bush came in it seems $100 billion is tossed around pretty frequently.

In your post you talk about MANY different ideas. I would like to see our BEST minds get together and distill those ideas down to the ONES that work best for automotive applications and home heating applications and all other applications.

Automotive energy use seems to be the most pressing concern for both oil dependency and "global warming" concerns. I'd like to see a consensus on the best way to provide efficient "non carbon dioxide producing" automobiles.

I'd like to see ALL the considerations you've mentioned brought under one unified and concentrated effort.
