From Mediacrity: The Palestinian kidnapping of Fox news correspondent Steve Centanni and camerman Olaf Wing is now in its fifth day, and it's interesting to note the flabby response from both the media and so-called journalism "protection" organizations -- which are usually quick to condemn Israel and the U.S. authorities in Iraq. The usually garrulous Committee to Protect Journalists issued a tepid statement expressing "concern," and the media generally has kept its distance. The New York Times, typically, buried a tiny reference to the kidnapping in a news roundup two days later. Obviously the Times was hoping that Centanni would be swiftly released, and delayed mentioning the kidnapping in the hope that it could report news of his release at the same time. Mustn't upset the myth of Palestinian moderation! newsbusters.org

CLinton was never in with Ken Lay. No connection. The GOP smear jockeys can find only one instance where they even talked, at a golf tournament once when they were playing against each other on different teams. Clinton never helped Enron. But you can be sure Lay made sure the federal government in the 90's didn't know or understand what Enron tricksters were doing behind the scenes. During the 90's, Enron and Lay gave CLinton $2000. They gave GW Bush something like $1,500,000. They gave Bush more than any company has ever given a politician in history. And they got their payback immediately as Bush-Cheney turned a blind eye to Enron and friends gouging the west coast for 30 billion. One of the biggest criminal heists of all time.
