My Tivo sucked up another sign of the times. On the hoary old McGlaughlin Group, they showed a clip of Bush claiming the Israel had "won" and Hezbollah had "lost". When they cut back to the Group, they were all laughing out loud! They did a nice summary of who won and who lost in theis latest war in Lebanon: Winners: Hezbollah Iran Syria Losers: Israel United States They point out that Israel, unlike us, has the guts to IMMEDIATELY start an investigation to determine who lost the war. Olmert's pre war popularity was 78%, and is now 40%, STILL higher than that of our own chimp Caesar, yet Olmert's government is probably doomed.
