Someone on TV commented that CT only has 78,000 registered Republicans out of 900,000 registered voters. The largest group in CT is Independents. Lamont has a simple message, that he's against the policies of George W. Bush. As more people get to know him, he should win. He seems like a straightforward, idealistic rich guy who wants to use his good fortune for the good of our country.
