You may think gayness is sexual preference, but the science makes it looks more and more like one is born that way, and there is no choice involved. The only "choice" is whether you get to live your life with a same sex partner in the same way heterosexual people get to live their lives, or whether society will punish you for the way you were born and deny you the ability to live the way other people live.

Seems to me that for most people sex is pretty darned important. Whole industries are built around the human interest in sex. Sex important? You bet. Sex and food- two of the most basic human interests.

What are the "basic human rights" that are being denied to gays?

The right to marry whomever they choose.

They will have this right granted to them in the future, as the younger generation takes over, so get used to it.
