The neocons have bungled Iraq completely and Israel has less respect in the world's eyes because of it.
I just read and article that intimated that the pentagon is considering inserting a dictator friendly to America, into Iraq and forgetting about trying to get a democracy there.

Perhaps it was a fortunate intersection. Oil and the interests of Israel?

For 50 years the support of Israel has been more about oil than religion or guilt.
