If Israel's democracy is 'fledgling' what is the democracy in Lebanon which it just attacked and tried to bomb into submission?

Can't you read basic English??

I never stated that Israel's democracy is "fledgling". I said Iraq's democracy is.

When you say things like this:
If Israel's democracy is 'fledgling' what is the democracy in Lebanon which it just attacked and tried to bomb into submission?

you don't enhance your credibility. Israel wasn't trying to "bomb Lebanon... into submission." Though I admit it wasn't the smartest thing in the world to do. Even Nasrallah said that the Shia bore the heaviest burden of the bombing by far (of course, he also tried to maintain your position, that it was Lebanon that Israel was attacking, not just Hezbollah--but nevermind). I suppose you think that was a coincidence?

Olmert played into Nasrallah's hand as easily as Bush played into Osama's. The Arabs are starting to learn how to do this guerilla warfare thing pretty well. The US and Israel better start to learn how to counter it politically.
