We can't afford to rebuild our infrastructure. We are too busy severely overpaying to rebuild Iraq's infrastructure.

I visited Newport RI recently --just for the day, to see the big houses, etc.-- and found it to have the worst maintained city streets I have ever seen anywhere. Tax revenue for the city must be extremely low. I would like to know what's going on . Seems like a kind of model of what you find wrong with the whole U.S.
