do you suspect theyre shorting to lock in profits thinking it wont go much higher, perhaps someone emailed a bunch of them en masse or an investment banker got a block of shares to short and has arraned deals with shareholders

a friend of mine in Vancouver, insider on some large IPOs, said sometimes you have to pony up an addl 1-3% if the shares are hard to short and that the brokers are always looking for supply
