I dont see N. Korea as an immediate threat to USA except if they sell nuclear or other to either unfriendly nations or terrorists. Iraq we KNEW was unfriendly and we THOUGHT they had wmd. Some of us still feel they did. In any event IMHO if one wishes to object over IRAQ one should object over Nation building rather then regime change. We could have been in and out of there in 6 weeks, and would have left a real disaster for others to clean up. We tried to do it right but the dummies are not cooperating enough. jdn

For sure, there was some poor planning and poor management issues, as I said earlier, no one is perfect, no one can think of all possible eventualities, this would be impossible, but we can't take pot shots with the benefit of 20/20 hindsight... we took a bold step when we did and we need to work our way through it now and not point the finger of blame, it's not productive and there is no blame, this is life and this is what we have... if you have a better way, then run for President and spread the word about your idea... meanwhile, we live with the choices we've made, and I don't think the choices are as bad as you seem to think...
