The SUV party is over. Automakers were making a killing on them for a while. Ford is now laying off workers in the US and Canada. But they are building a new plant in Mexico to produce cars. Once again the American worker gets the bohica.

bigger SUV's and trucks.

I saw a Hummer pulling into a convienience story today and my first though was that it looked like those containers, from container-ships and railroads, with wheels stuck on. Who would want to drive such a butt-ugly vehicle?
