Peter, Yes, the moslems know that they have the French in their pocket, but too many other countries can't see the worthlessness of France. I am a conservationist, but see no reason we cannot drill for oil in Alaska even if it is in the wildlife area. It has been proven that drilling, and pumping, can be done without damaging the ecosystem and after the wells are completed, they can be almost impossible to see. I have seen that in New Mexico, and it probably has been done in other oil bearing places. Even if we can get more oil on our own, I still think that we need to find an alternate source of energy for the benefit of the air and environment. We spent the USSR out of business too.
