There is no question that radical environmentalists are harmful for the well being of mankind. Take another example. They mobilized to force the discontinuance of using DDT because there was evidence that its overuse in outside applications was harmful to avian populations. Now it is proven that in Africa the use of DDT in indoor applications would save millions of lives over time. The affected governments ban DDT because it might prevent their export of agricultural commodities to the US and EU. The message: DDT saves lives. Environmentalists cost lives.
