Anyone on the board care to speculate on the odds of a buyout at this point and what the immediate future of the company looks like if it doesn't happen? It's trading at pre-buyout rumor levels and I'm starting to question whether or not they even have viable suitors. On the flip side, if they can't or choose not to sell, what other options do they have? Lunesta sales have been flat for I don't know how long and the HFA launch was a joke. They continue to increase expenses and there is a major gap in the pipeline. I don't think the two deals they've done in the past (Ross Labs and Astelin) give investors much confidence in the management team to hit a home run with something new. I think the buyout premium in Sepracor is gone and the stock will continue to fall as investors start focusing on the company's lack of execution.
