I meant settle not settle. We have 30k troops in SK so we are indeed part of the problem. Japan is at risk and as you pointed out they are the worlds second largest economy. There can be no korean settlement without us and if we ignore it and the others do nothing, eventually we will be facing nuclear tipped long range missiles from NK. No question NK is further along than iran, but they are also not islamic and probably can be bought off in some fashion. I am sure they want the US troops to leave and both SK and NK will be open to chinese mediation. Let the chinese take up the trip wire.
