That would be for the reserves. But even the main troops probably are deficit. The skills for occupation are vastly different than that for fighting trained, disciplined troops. So their main forces have been degraded occupying Gaza and the West Bank. And it shows.

The more obvious deficiency was in the national leadership of Israel in this war. I wonder how much longer Olmert will be PM.

Not very long from what I am hearing.
