How do you get - "I know exactly what would have happened if..." from "I'm pretty sure there would have been an effect, but the effect would likely have been..." For some reason on this thread I have to keep asking people if they don't bother to read my posts, or if they deliberately distort them. I am now asking you. What constitutional powers are you talking about? Mostly the powers as commander and chief, but also potentially other powers of the executive.
