Dale,

Encana is using a new combo technology using 2 different rigs to drill through the basalt to the basement which has been a major problem in the CRB. Similar new drilling technolgy made the Pinedale feasible for UPL. Encana has permitted another well in the last few days in the CRB or Colombia River Basin: why?

The rig breaking through the Basalt layer belongs to DPTR which can back into a 15% well interest with ECA.

DPTR along with ECA and Royal Dutch Shell own most of the CRB rights. If the gas is there; these guys will get it.

It sounds like the projections are based on best outcome projections. If the CRB has the potential they are saying, the numbers that have been projected may appear too conservative. My uncle had been working on these numbers before he died, and I have to admit I am in awe and tend to downplay them.

I think that DPTR is in the right areas of exploration and that long term it will have very substantial earnings. I decided to hold off buying stock for now. As I feel that I already have an investment, although just emotionally. I remember when Shell Oil came here to offer us a lease on our other property years ago. I used the money they paid for my first real investment. I bought Texaco and I have been investing ever since.
