Tim, again that was an excellent post, and even more to the point today than it was 2 years ago, IMO. We didn't have "recommendations" then, nor the ability to "keep"...I just did both. You say it so well.

Perhaps the reason that many of the MSM don't like GWB is that he has not been "nuanced" in public, but rather does his agonizing in private. He senses, and acts upon, the need for a leader to be just that....a leader.

But the job has to get done anyway. And to get this kind of job done boldness is essential. A leader who never blunders, but who doesn't take the fight to the enemy is worthless. A leader who sets about to win - win ugly if needs be - is priceless.
