If not then you have a serious set of screws loose. That's NOT the scenario I laid out, nor is it representative of the current reality in the mid-east. There is NO threat of "prison" for Hizbullah, so long as the local (Lebanese), or international "police" have displayed their unwillingness to enforce the law. This is really like two heavily armed inner-city gangs involved in a "turf-war" in which neither Local, or Federal, law enforcement has either the will, or the means, to intervene. One side does a drive-by shooting and kills members of one clan/gang, and it requires a response by the other side, including the option of eliminating the "soldiers" of the other gang, if necessary in order to re-establish some form of peace in the neighborhood. This scenario has been played out numerous times in various cities throughout the world. And, of course, the Palestinians HAVE MOVED which is pretty much the entire point. Not entirely. MOST sold their property to the Jews, while the rest were told by other Arab states, intent on destroying Israel in 1948, to evacuate to territory controlled by those Arab states. The rest chose to remain in Israel have been granted Israeli citizenship. Those Palestinians who evacuated to the West Bank then CHOSE, via their leadership at the time, to be annexed into the Kingdom of Jordan. The Palestinians in Gaza established themselves in refugee camps governed by Egypt. They had their opportunity to have a Palestinian state in 1948, but their Arab brethren denied them this opportunity. As for "biblical" rights.. whether you believe in God or not, the HISTORICAL FACT is that it is the JEWS that established the city of Jerusalem and made it the center of their previous kingdom. This was over 3000 years ago!! But the Jews were forced to move, first by the Romans, then the Crusaders, and ultimately the Arabs. The only real religious claim the Muslims have to Jerusalem is the Al-Aqsa mosque, built on the ruins of the Jewish temple mount. Sure, this is antiquated history, but it's still relevant from the Jewish perspective in which they've lived through thousands of years of forced exile, constantly persecuted and required to move from place to place, often having to leave all of their possesstion behind. What about the some odd million Jews who had been living peacefully in Arab countries prior to 1948, who were suddenly evicted and all of their property seized by the Arabs with no compensation?? They had no one who would accept them except Israel. It's an ugly reality for the Palestinians, to say the least. But it's been no less ugly for the Jews. But they've had an opportunity to establish their own independent state, and this opportunity STILL EXISTS. Yet, they still pursue their war of extermination against the Jews. Yeah.. you bet if I were a member of the Israeli "gang", I would damn well kill anyone who was hell-bent upon killing me, should they get the opportunity. And should my enemies obtain the opportunity to make good on their threats to exterminate me and my family, I'm not going down alone. Hawk
