No way the Bush/GOP jumped in the polls. That was a faulty poll, an abberation. Watch all the others conclude Bush is still in the mid 30's and running on "cut and run cowards" while Bush has made a total disaster in Iraq and now admits there were no WMD or Al Qaida ties is not going to win the GOP any more support.

Why would anyone want to support a dishonest failure? Maybe an honest failure or a dishonest winner. But not a dishonest failure. Americans have had enough.

Two new polls show Gallup was abberation. No change in Bush-GOP congressional support. pollingreport.com

Also, let's be honest, the GOP is busy covering up a lot of bad news and corruption scandals now. Just like they did during the 2002 and 2004 election seasons.

New Poll: Bush falls to 34% further contradicting Gallup's supposed "comeback" for Bush. Maybe the "comeback" was for 48 hours during the Lebanon fighting. Who knows?
But it's gone now. 34% is about as bad as it gets.
