Did you ever think to look for biodiesel on google? or alternate energy? There are so many good easy solid technologies available and more every day. We could change all our house lighting to compact flourescent, I did and dropped my energy use quite a bit. We could switch a lot of lighting to led lighting. we could make public transit free or charge a minimal fare so that no one wants to drive. we could rebuild our railways into passenger lines so our highways would be less travelled.
