If Lebanon had received a diplomatic warning telling them what israel was about to do, they may have done something. In this case hizbolla=bin laden and lebanon=taliban. The latter exists because they both allowed a foreign based terrorist organization on their territory that in one case makes world wide attacks and in the other attacks israel cross border for no valid reason.
